Chapter 8 : The Untold Story

School is boring. T^T
... Speechless as usual.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

. . . .

"WHAT!" said Kinochi in disbelief. "WHAT DID I JUST HEARD YOU SAY?"

"I said," said Vance slowly and calmly. "Look's like we're stuck in the locker."

Kinochi expression was hysterical. She tried looking around the locker to find a way to get out, but failed. The key to the locker was on the floor outside. Kinochi turned to Vance with anger.

"It's all your fault!" said Kinochi as she started pummeling Vance with her fists. "If only didn't come and meet me! If only you never took the freaking book! If-"

Vance covered Kinochi's mouth with his hand. "Hush keep quiet little Kinochi," said Vance in a soft tone. "Don't trash on me so." Kinochi redden in embarassment.

Vance suddenly started smirking. "Aww.." said Vance 'sweetly'. "Little Kinochi enjoys this doesn't she?"

"WHAT THE HELL!" said Kinochi, pushing his hand off her mouth. "As if I do! It's more like you enjoy it!"

Vance smirk began to fade away. "Of course I do," said Vance quietly, half mumbling. "To be spending time with little Kinochi. Something I thought I won't able to anymore."

Kinochi stared at Vance. "He's not smirking, and his voice doesn't have the mischevious tone anymore," thought Kinochi. "He's not joking. He's... serious.." Kinochi's eyes started to be filled with tears. At first she tried blinking them away, but the tears were too much.

Kinochi moved closer to Vance and leaned on his shoulder. "Vance," said Kinochi tearfully. "Why did you ever had to.. Leave?"

Kinochi, at the age of 6, wandered around in the park. She sat contentedly on the green grass, trying to pull out little daises when she saw a butterfly. It was a fire-like coloured butterfly. It glimmered like a gem. Kinochi's eyes widened in fascination and smiled.

She started to walk after it. Then she started walking faster and faster and soon she was running after it. Probably something provoked the little critter to fly faster. Suddenly her attention was diverted to another direction. It was the sight of a red haired boy.

He was at the root of an enormous elm tree which has a big tree trunk. He was sitting at the foot of the tree, his head drooping down. Kinochi's curosity got the better of her so she started walking towards the boy. His ears perked up when he heard someone coming, but when he saw Kinochi he just shrugged and let his head droop down again.

"Hey!" said Kinochi, a little pissed off. "I saw that you know!"

The boy spoke nothing. Kinochi stared at him in frustration.

"FINE!" said Kinochi, huffing and going to the other side of the tree. "BE that way!"

Silence came between them. Until the boy broke the silence by chuckling.

"You're funny you know," said the boy softly as he chuckled. "You could be a comedian!"

"There's no way I'm going to be a comedian!" said Kinochi. "Anyways, what are you doing here?"

The boy did not reply. "Helloooooo," said Kinochi," You there?"

"Well.." said the boy with a sad tone. "I'd rather not say. But I can tell you I have no home."

Kinochi didn't understand what he meant. "Well!" said Kinochi in glee. "You can come stay with me then!"

The boy, from the other side of the tree, sprang up in suprise. "WHAT!" said the boy crudly. "That's immpossible, stupid!"

"Why not!" demanded Kinochi as she also stood up. "You and I have red hair! Brother and sister! Problem solve!"

Then they both ran to the other side of the tree at the same time, causing them to collide into each other. Kinochi stood up and pull the boy up. "Come on!" said Kinochi enthusiastically. The boy had an 'OMG' expression.

-x-x- Flashy Back 2 -x-x-

The boy got accepted to be Kinochi's neighbour's adopted child after Kinochi told about the boy to her mother as she jumped up and down hyperly. "Okay then!" said Kinochi's mother as she wave to the neighbour happily.

Then she turned to the boy. "You can go there as soon as you eat dinner here okay?" said the mother smiling. "Now if you want to shower Kinochi can show you."

Kinochi ushered the boy upstairs and to the bathroom. "Hey," said Kinochi, realizing. "I don't even know your name! I must know if not I have to call you the red-haired-kid-next-door."

"My hair isn't red," said the boy. He took a bucket of water and soaked himself.

"You don't bath like that!" said Kinochi, puzzled. "Usually people-"

Kinochi's eyes widen. His hair wasn't red. It was blue.

"Your h-hair is b-blue?!" said Kinochi, shocked.

"Yes," said the boy. "My name is Vance, and you just saw a pile of blood."

-x-x- Flashy Back 3 -x-x-

Kinochi ran frantically around in fear. Vance caught her and talked softly. "Don't worry," said Vance. "I won't get you in trouble. I'll just say I tripped over red dye."

"But!" said Kinochi. "This is serious!"

"Hush," said Vance. "I'll do the covering up ok? Now can you get out of the bathroom so that I can bath! Unless you are a perv!"

Vance slammed the door and Kinochi had a WTH expression on her face.

-x-x- Flashy Back 4 -x-x-

It's been 1 year since Vance became her neighbour. And since the neighbour is naturally talented at music, they started teaching Vance how to play the violin. Vance was getting on well. But then Kinochi couldn't spend as much time as she used to with him. Kinochi found Vance at the doorstep.

"Vance!!" shouted Kinochi. "Come with me for a bit!"

"Huh?" said Vance with an awkward expression. "But my lessons aren't over yet!"

"Don't be a spoil sport!" said Kinochi as she pouted.

"Fine.." said Vance as he took up the violin. "Where you want to go?"

"I'll show you!" said Kinochi happily as she dragged Vance along.

15 minutes later, they arrived in the same park she found Vance at the elm tree. Kinochi sat on the grass lazily as she smiled.

"I want to know how well you play the violin!" said Kinochi, grinning. "Play a song to me!"

"If you want me to," said Vance. Vance began with a pleasent melody.

"OH!!" said Kinochi excitely. "I know this song!! It's my favourite! Cool Vance! You know my favourite song!! You-"

"Oh just shut your blabbering mouth for once," said Vance jokingly as he stopped playing the violin. "You're destroying the music and peace!" Then he continued the song again.

Kinochi pouted again but soon started humming to the sweet melody and eventually began to sing. Vance held a suprised expression as he didn't know Kinochi sings, but then smiled as he saw her singing cheerfully to the song.

-x-x- Flashy Back 5-x-x-

"WHY VANCE?!" said Kinochi pleading as she grasp onto his hand. "Why do you have to leave?! Why didn't you tell me earlier? Why, w-why, w-w-h-y didn't you..-" Tears started flooding onto her face.

Vance couldn't bear to see her cry. "Don't cry," said Vance, as he hugged her. "It's hurts me to see you like this."

Kinochi started blinking away her tears. "Didn't y-you ever think how it'll hurt me!" said Kinochi sadly.

"I'm sorry," said Vance, really meaning it. "I just can't help it." Kinochi wiped away her tears and Vance stopped hugging her but held her hands.

"Maybe one day,"said Vance with hope glimmering in his eyes. "We can meet again."

Then at that moment Kinochi's neighbours called Vance into the car.Vance gave one pityful glance to Kinochi as he hopped into the car. They drove off to the airport and boarded to a plane to Switzerland. Kinochi looked onto the dusty road and kicked the pebbles with anger.

"How am I ever going to meet you again if you're living in Switzerland!" shouted Kinochi, mad. "Even I know Switzerland is far away! I'm not stupid!" Kinochi's eyes started to get flooded by tears all over again.

-x-x- End Of All Flashy Backs -x-x-

".." said Vance, looking at the opposite direction. "You're better off not knowing.."

"I deserve to know why!" said Kinochi, clenching her fists angrily. "I've been waiting for you for 6 whole years! Not a postcard, or an email, or freaking anything! I might as well thought you were dead! I tried to forget you because I hate you, and just when I almost did you had to freaking come back! You're a fool Vance! A liar and a fool!"

Vance just shrugged and sighed. "How would you know?" began Vance. "What if I'm not telling you because I don't want you to get hurt? How would you ever know how I think?"

"But! I-" said Kinochi objecting his speech when she got distracted.

*plop,plop,plop*

"Is that footsteps?" said Kinochi, a little happy.

"I don't know," said Vance. "Why would anyone be in school at this hour?"

"Hey," said a familiar voice. "That's weird. Who left their locker key in here?"

Kinochi and Vance started making a commotion, hoping the person would realize freaking people are locked in. There was the sound of a key turning. The locker door flung open.

"Hey,hey, hey," said the person, grinning. "Guess who I found?"

Kinochi's eyes widen in suprise.

"..Rick, what are you doing here at this hour?"

Chapter 7 : Lockers

... Nothing to say...
Except that school is boring >.<
On with the chapter. Lol. So not enthusiastic.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

An awkward silence was held in the atmosphere. Neither of them spoke or moved an inch. Then Vance broke the silence.

"Aren't you going to explain?" said Vance sarcastically.

Yourichi glared at Vance. "She isn't ready to know this yet," whispered Yourichi angrily. "I'll tell her when things actually start happening."

"Oh really?" said Vance, not bothering to whisper at all. "Do you honestly think it'll be wise to wait for that? Do you?"

"Huh?" said Kinochi, puzzled and confused. "Explain what? Wait for what? What are you two talking about?"

Yourichi first looked at Kinochi, then at Vance. Then he let go of Vance's collar as he whispered something to Vance.

"Don't dare you tell her," threathened Yourichi. "Or I'm taking your life, you murderer."

"Whatever," said Vance, annoyed. "Sucker."

Yourichi ignored his insult as he went out of the classroom. As he passed by Kinochi, he spoke to her.

"Don't be too close with that guy," said Yourichi with a grave look. "He's bad news."

Kinochi wanted to ask why but didn't dare to. Yourichi left the classroom as Kinochi let out a sigh. "Sometimes brothers are so complicated," thought Kinochi.

"OOO!!!" said a girl with pigtails, with shining eyes. "COOL!! TWO BOYS ARE FIGHTING OVER YOU RIGHT?? WAHH!!! YOU'RE SO LUCKY!!"

Kinochi sweatdropped. "You've gotta be kidding m-" began Kinochi but she got interrupted by two more girls.

"So which one do you like more, huh?" said a girl with a braided ponytail. "The white haired guy or the blue haired one? Huh huh huh?"

"In my personal opinion, I like the white haired guy!!" said a girl with purple, shoulder length hair. "You know, the other day, when I fell down, and he was passing by. Guess what, he helped me up!! So kind and so charming!! OO!!"

Then the three girls started day-dreaming. Kinochi sweatdropped like crazy.

"Either it's me or the whole world is crazy," thought Kinochi."Don't people know that the white haired dude is my brother?? Is-"

Suddenly someone snapped their fingers. Kinochi looked around to find who snapped their fingers. It was distracting. And it happen to be Vance, whom was holding the book with his left hand.

"Give me back my book!" said Kinochi.

"Nah," said Vance. "After school."

"Give it now!" said Kinochi. And without thinking twice, she started to try grabbing the book from his left hand. Unfortunately, Vance was too fast for her.

"Wow," thought Vance to himself. "These brother and sister do act quite alike. Hmm.. Maybe if-"

"WOW!!!" interrupted the pigtailed hair girl. "SO COOL! YOU LIKE HIM BACK TOO?? YOU GUYS ARE SO LUCKY!!"

"Huh?" said Kinochi, stopping momentarily. "Can't you see that I am trying to get the book ba-"

"So cute!!" said the girl with the braided ponytail. "You're trying to elope aren't you? Trying to grab his hand and run away!"

"Gosh, these people must be crazy or - " said Kinochi, annoyed.

"Oh~~" said the purple haired girl, looking dreamy. "Just the perfect way~~ Just like a fairytale!~"

Kinochi smacked her forehead lightly. "As if I'll ever like Vance!" thought Kinochi. Suddenly Vance came next to her and whispered lightly to Kinochi.

"I'll meet you at the locker after school okay?" whispered Vance. "Unless.. You want people to think we're a couple." Vance smirked.

"What the hell!" said Kinochi. "You're crazy!"

"Alright!" boomed a voice suddenly. "Keep the distance, lovebirds. It's time to learn."

The students quickly went to their places and took out their Mathematics textbook. Vance kept the Book of Castastrophe into his bag as he took out the textbook. As Kinochi also took out the textbook, she muttered something.

"Stupid Vance," mumbled Kinochi. "It's all his fault." Vance just smirked his infamous smirk.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"I'm sorry to trouble you Akio-kun," said Kinochi sheepishly, as she balanced the books that she was carrying. "I know it's a hassle for you to do things that aren't that important."

"It's okay," said Akio as he gave a slight smile. "I don't mind helping."

Kinochi grinned like a fool as they walked to the hallway.

"Especially when it's you," mumbled Akio.

"Eh??" said Kinochi, as pink tints were visible on her cheeks. "Did you - um - just say that?"

"Say what?" said Akio, with an innocent look on his face.

"Uh," said Kinochi." Never mind what I just said."

"Okay then," said Akio as he shrugged. "If you say so."

"I knew I was just dreaming," thought Kinochi as she sighed. "As if he would ever like me.. But, if he did, I'll be so happy! Then we'll go on dates, go to the amusement park, eat out, - uh - erm - eat chocolate? Whatever, I'll be jumping over the moon! It's just like a dream -"

"Kinochi?" echoed Akio. "You there? I think you spaced out or something?"

Kinochi came back to reality in a flash. "Uh," said Kinochi, saying the words really quickly. "I'mfinethankyou!!" Kinochi just gave a nervous laugh.

"Whatever," said Akio. "I'm just letting you know that we already reached the teacher's room. Anymore of you spacing out any longer and you'll crash into the door."

Kinochi didn't know what to say so she just opened the door. As they put the books down at the teacher's table, Akio looked at Kinochi with serious eyes.

"You better be careful around Vance," said Akio. "Especially, when he starts trying to find ways to see you. Alone."

Kinochi stared at him dumbfound. He was the second person to warn her today.

"Bye," said Akio, as he waved. "I'm going home now."

And at that moment, he just left her at the teacher's room. Kinochi stood there, frozen on the spot until..

"WOW!!" said Kinochi loudly, jumping up and down in glee. "Akio-kun cares for me!!~~YAY!!"

All the teachers in that room laid eyes on her. Kinochi suddenly realised that she said it out loud and felt embarassed.

"Err.." said Kinochi, with a sheepish grin. "I'm sorry for making a disturbance.."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

.:: After School ::.

Kinochi opened her school locker as she began putting things to put in there. There was a whole lot of space.

"Gosh," thought Kinochi. "To think that everyone in this freaking school has one each! And it so freaking big too! I can store a 100 books and still have a frigging lot of space!"

Kinochi began putting some of the books that she didn't need to bring back.

"Although," thought Kinochi after awhile. "Not much people use the locker anyway. They just rush home."

What Kinochi said was very true. She was pratically one of the last ones in the school.

"Oh yea," said Kinochi, her voice sounding more agitated. "Where is Vanc-"

"LOOKING for me?" said Vance suddenly, with a smirk.

"AHH!" said Kinochi, suprised. "Where the crap did you come from?!"

"I've got my secrets," said Vance, smirking.

"Secrets..?" thought Kinochi. Suddenly she remembered what her brother and Akio said to her recently. It echoed throughout her head.

"Don't be too close with that guy," said Yourichi with a grave look. "He's bad news."
"-too close with that guy. He's bad news."
"-with that guy. He's bad news."
"He's bad news."

"You better be careful around Vance," said Akio. "Especially, when he starts trying to find ways to see you. Alone."
"-careful around Vance. Especially, when he starts trying to find ways to see you. Alone."
"-when he starts trying to find ways to see you. Alone."
"Alone."

Kinochi clenched her fists angrily. That must be it! Vance must have tricked her! Taking the book as a decoy! To meet her alone!

"I don't frigging care what stupid secrets you have," said Kinochi angrily. "But you ain't getting what you want Vance! You'll never-"

"Hey Kinochi," said Vance worriedly. "What's wrong with you? What are you sayi-"

"Don't act like you don't know!" shouted Kinochi. "You id-"

Suddenly, a teenager boy started running through the lockers hallway.

"I'M DEAD MEAT!!" shouted the boy, as ran clumsily."OMG! I'M GOING TO BE FREAKING LATE! OMG!!!"

Kinochi and Vance looked at the direction that the voice belonged to. They both sweatdropped.

"What the hell is-" began Kinochi.

As he pass Kinochi and Vance, one of his hands accidently pushed both of them.

"OMG!" shouted the boy as he kept running."SORRY! DIDN'T MEANT TO HIT YOU!!"

He ran off, as fast as lightning.

"Ow.." said Kinochi as she rubbed her head. Suddenly, a noise was heard.

*click-clack*

"Umm.." said Kinochi nervously. "What was that sound..?"

"Looks like we're stuck in the locker," said Vance.

Chapter 6 : Tresspassing?

Kinochi must be so happy right now... XD
LOL My updates are so no frequent..
Whatever.. Story time ;P

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The books which Kinochi had been carrying came crashing down onto Kinochi and Akio. Some of the books were opened up and one of the books almost hit Akio's head.

"Akio-kun.." stuttered Kinochi, her face being scarlet red. "I'm sorry.."

The position Akio and Kinochi is currently being is really awkward. Akio was on top of Kinochi. They just froze in that position.

"Oh god," thought Kinochi. "He's so freakin' close!!"

Who knows what Akio was thinking. Time was frozen until..

"Akio-kun!!" squealed one of his fan-girls. "Are you okay? Did that girl hurt you?"

At that moment suddenly they both snapped back to reality. Akio got up as Kinochi began to say sorry over and over again.

"I'm so sorry Akio-kun!" said Kinochi in a rush."It's my fault! I shouldn't be carrying that many books! I should be more careful!"

"It's okay," said Akio dryly.

Kinochi stood up as she picked up her school bag. It had been buried among the books.

"Darn," thought Kinochi to herself as she checked her bag. "Even the contents have been spilled out."

Kinochi began to stack up the books again when she suddenly saw Akio stacking the books in another corner.

"Eh??" said Kinochi."Akio-kun, you don't need to do that. It's my fault after all."

"Helping people is a common courtesy," replied Akio.

Seeing as there was no way to stop him, Kinochi left him helping her anyway. Secretly Kinochi couldn't be bothered. She's so freaking happy that her crush is actually helping her!

"Book Of Castastrophe?" echoed Akio as he picked up the book. "What kind of book is that?"

When Kinochi saw Akio intending to open the book, she quickly took the book from his hands and quickly put it inside her bag. Kinochi began to sweatdropped.

"Well.." said Kinochi lamely. "My brother was interested to borrow this book so I borrowed it for him..Eh heh heh.. I have a weird brother right?"

Akio didn't reply but just went on stacking the book pile. Kinochi heaved a sigh of relief silently.

"Sorry Onii-tan," thought Kinochi secretly. "I didn't mean to say that.."

"So I guess we're done," said Akio as he splitted the book pile into two seperate halves. "So where are we suppose to bring this?"

"To the teacher's room," said Kinochi bluntly. "Thanks for helping me Akio-kun."

They began walking through the hallway as students began whispering to each other.

"Hey," nudged a student as he pointed at Kinochi. "Look who's Akio with."

"Akio-kun is so cute!!" exclaimed a girl. Akio looked at that girl and smiled. The girl pratically fainted.

Kinochi sweatdropped. "I think I would be like that," thought Kinochi.

"Hey Kinochi," said Akio after awhile. "It was good of you to want to help the teacher, but don't you think you need a helping hand?"

"I guess so?" said Kinochi, wondering why he suddenly asked.

"If you don't mind may I help you?" said Akio.

"Heck yea!!" thought Kinochi. "Of course I wouldn't mind!!" Kinochi was almost bursting her brain out.

"If its fine by you," said Kinochi, somehow managed to regain composure.

Akio just smiled.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Yay!!" screamed Kinochi happily, pratically jumping up and down on her bed. "I can't believe it! Akio-kun is going to help me carry books!"

Her brother, Yourichi, was trying to study. With no avail, obviously. Who can with a screaming kid?

"Can you keep the frigging noise down Kochi!" said Yourichi, putting his two hands on his ears. "So what if Akio is going to help you carry books? It ain't anything big! It's not like he proposed to you or something!"

Kinochi stopped jumping as she put on a scowling face.

"It's not like Onii-tan would know!" said Kinochi indigantly. "You never had a crush in your whole freaking life!"

"Unless.." said Kinochi, lowering her volume suddenly. "You had but never told me!" Kinochi gave a sly smile.

"Yea right," said Yourichi. "So can you please close your mouth now? I need to study."

"Fine!" said Kinochi as she pouted. She took her school bag with her as she stomped out of the room while muttering,"Mean Onii-tan!"

Yourichi couldn't help it but to laugh. "Silly little girl," thought Yourichi as he began to work on some mind boggling maths.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Kinochi sighed as she took out her homework.

"I hate doing geography work," said Kinochi to herself. "Oh well, better to do it than never!"

She began to draw a map of Japan. But it isn't going well. Kinochi tried multiple times. She tried this way and that way. Nothing worked.

"Oh dammit!" said Kinochi frustratedly as she fling her hands to the air. "Bother this stupid homework!"

Her school bag happened to be caught on one of Kinochi's fingers so it went up in the air as it dropped onto the floor, spilling it's contents for the second time today. Kinochi's expression hardened. Along with the school books the Book Of Castasrophe came out, opening to the most recent entry.

Kinochi's eyes nearly fell out. "This book is something.." thought Kinochi to herself. The last entry was :

Falling never felt so good.

Kinochi had to admit. It was good. Too good in fact.

"This book is dangerous.." thought Kinochi. Suddenly, the book flipped over a page as it began its dreading writing. After fifteen minutes of staring at it, it finished writing. This is what it said :

To have seen something do something it shouldn't do,
To have seen something do something it is supposed to be able to do,
To have that something fail,
Something is definitely fishy about this question.

Kinochi began to get nervous about this entry. There's something crazy going to happen. Kinochi slowly closed the book and put it back into her school bag.

"Who knows what would happen if I leave this out in the open," thought Kinochi.

Kinochi looked at the clock which was on the living room's wall.

"I'll never finish my homework in time!!" exclaimed Kinochi as she rushed to finish her homework.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

.:: Next Day ::.

"Bye Kochi!" said Yourichi with a sly grin. "I hope you finished your homework already."

"Yea yea.." said Kinochi motionlessly. "Thanks for helping me Onii-tan.."

Yourichi dissapeared from the bedroom in a flash and Kinochi was all by herself.

"Good," said Kinochi to herself. "Now I can hide this scary thing."

Kinochi took out the Book Of Castastrophe which had been in her school bag as she carefully put it under her brother's bed.

"Hopeful he didn't know it's gone yet," thought Kinochi to herself. After making sure it was in it's original position, she casually walked out of the door with her school bag as if nothing happened.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Take out your geography book please Kinochi," said the geography teacher, tapping the blackboard for attention. "I would like to show the class how it's done."

"Why me.." thought Kinochi, grumpily as she opened her school bag. She found her geography book and she almost closed the bag when she froze.

"What the crap," muttered Kinochi silently. "What is it doing here? I'm sure I left it at home.."

Vance, the blue-haired kid whom Kinochi utterly despise, happened to be sitting beside her. Vance caught some part of what she was saying and looked at her direction.

"Hmm.." thought Vance silently to himself. "I know it.." His mouth turned into a smirk.

"Ahem," said the teacher as he cleared his throat. "Is there something wrong Kinochi?"

"N-no! There's nothing wrong teacher!" said Kinochi as she quickly closed her school bag and gave the book to her teacher. The teacher started blabbering about nonsensical stuff about Japan and the importance of geography which she totally didn't agree.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Kinochi-chan!" said Emiko as she waved. "Want to buy a bowl of noodles with me?"

"Sure!" said Kinochi happily as they went out to the corridor. The classroom was pratically empty except for one human being inside.

"This is my chance.." thought Vance as he cautiously walked towards Kinochi's bag. He gently empty the bag as he took up a certain book.

"Book Of Castastrophe eh?" murmured Vance to himself. He began to flip open the first page. Vance's eyes were glued onto the words he read.

"No one's allowed to be in the classrooms during recess time kiddo," said a voice. It turned out to be Yourichi. Vance slightly gasped when he heared Yourichi's voice. Yourichi's face hardened.

"It's you," said Yourichi. Vance didn't reply.

"You bastard!" said Yourichi in rage. "How could you!"

"I ain't any bastard," said Vance, still holding the book. "Nor a criminal."

"Who are you to say that huh?" said Yourichi indigantly, as he started to walk in circles around Vance. "You don't know what it feels like to lose the one you love and care for! You murderer!"

"I do know," said Vance quietly. "Do you honestly think I loved no one? I loved - but I loved alone!"

"If you ever hurt my sister again," said Yourichi angrily, as his ruby red eyes set aflame. "You're going to get it! At the cost of my life!"

Vance couldn't stand anymore of Yourichi's remarks. "Do you honestly think I wanted to do it?!" retorted back Vance. "Do you honestly think I chose to be like this? A son never chooses his father!"

Yourichi calmed down slightly. "As if I can believe the opposer," muttered Yourichi silently. He decided to let it down.

"You better get out of the classroom before you get in trouble," said Yourichi.

"Sucker," said Vance dryly. "Get a life."

Yourichi came back in a flash. He held Vance up by his collar.

"I was about to drop it loose when you just had to say it," said Yourichi. Yourichi spied the book which Vance was still holding.

"Drop it," said Yourichi. "Drop it now."

"Never," said Vance daringly.

"Ok then," said Yourichi. "Have a taste of this!"

Yourichi's fist was just a few centimeters away from Vance's face when someone came in. Yourichi had a stunned look while Vance's face froze.

"Hey Vance..." began Kinochi. "What are you doing with my book?"

Holy crap.

Chapter 5 : Falling

And it's Chapter 5... 0.0
Wow. I'm slow. And who knew Vance could break dance?
More stuff are to be revealed in this post..
And why is it so frigging long?? ^.^" Enjoy?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to his hoodie taken off, the audience had numerous kinds of responses.

"What is that youngster doing there!"

"I thought this company only allowed 18 and above to break dance?"

"Oh my gosh, HE'S HOT!"

"He looks familiar.."

"Darn he's taller and more good-looking than me!!!"

After the shouts and responses, people complained. They said "BOO!!" and "This is stupid!" and people began to leave. They littered the compound and shouted some insults. Within minutes, the crowd was gone, only leaving a few people staring dumbfound.

"Vance!" said the manager of the company. "You need some talking."

Uh oh. Busted again?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Kinochi could not believe her eyes. It was Vance all along? What is he doing here?

"I think I need to find out things," thought Kinochi. She began walking towards the backstage, authorized or not. Totally forgetting Emiko.

"Kinochi-chan!" whined Emiko as she ran towards her. "Where do you think you are going? We came here to shop you know!"

"But you were the one who stopped here to see them break dance," said Kinochi.

"I know but," said Emiko."They're done! Let's go!"

"No," said Kinochi after awhile. "I think.. I want to find out something."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Do you know you have just disgraced the Panther Cooperation by your doings?" said the manager, with his voice raising at every word he spoke. "This is going to be bad for this company in the future thanks to you Vance!"

Vance just stood in front of him motionlessly.

"I thought I could rely on you," continued the manager, as he slammed his fist on the table. "But I guess I proved myself wrong. You are just an ingnorant brat of 13! Why did you even apply a job here?"

"Shut up old man," thought Vance as he stuck his hands into his pockets.

"You're fired!" said the manager angrily. "I don't need idiots like you! You can leave now, and don't dare you ask for your pay for this week. Dismiss!"

"Sure old man," spoke Vance at last during the 30 minute lecture."My pleasure." Vance took his bag as walked out of the backstage as he collided into Kinochi.

Kinochi had a dazed look while Vance held a look of suprise.

"What are you doing here?" said Kinochi as she rubbed her head.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Before giving any explanations, first Vance took the two girls to buy some drinks. Vance actually paid for their drinks. Maybe for courtesy.

"So," said Kinochi as she sipped her drink. "Care to explain?"

"Well," said Vance."I applied a job here when I came back to earn some money. So that -"

"Earn money?" interrupted Emiko. "Don't your parents give you money?"

"...You can say.." said Vance after some blank thoughts."That they don't."

"But why?" asked Kinochi as she thought of her parents. Her dad died five years ago so her mom had to work alot so she and Onii-tan didn't get to see her often. But still, she did give them some money. "Not even a cent?"

"Do you honestly think I would apply for a job if my parents gave me money?" said Vance as he smacked his forehead. "Come on, can't you understand the obvious? Anyways, at first the manager didn't want to hire me because I was just too young."

"So how did you get hired?" asked Emiko.

"Because I'm tall enough and drop dead gorgeous," said Vance with a smirk.

"Yeah right," thought Kinochi.

"But I guess I blew it when my hoodie came off," continued Vance. "As if I wanted that to happen."

"But he should have forgiven you!!" said Emiko indigantly. "You break dance so well! If I were a manager I would have forgiven you!"

Emiko went on ranting as Kinochi and Vance sweatdropped. Then Kinochi's face had a grin plastered on it.

"Looks like someone has a crush on somebody.." said Kinochi, obviously meaning it's Emiko.

"NO I DO NOT!" said Emiko with a huff. Suddenly her mood changed.

"Hey Kinochi, we're supposed to shop!" said Emiko as she dragged a shocked Kinochi and leaving behind a bewildered Vance.

"Girls... are weird."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

.:: A million of shops and after ::.

Kinochi waved goodbye to Emiko as she sighed silently in delight.

"Thank goodness that's over!" thought Kinochi as she began walking home. The sunset has just appeared above the horizon and sky was purple-ish pink-ish in colour. She walked pass the lush greenery of the forest and was reaching the park when she saw two people skateboarding. A brunette haired boy and girl looked like they were have a lot of fun.

"I think we should go home now!" said the brunette haired boy, signalling the girl to stop.

"But it's early!" procastinated the girl. "And we just came here!"

"Yea.." said the boy sarcastically. "We just came here, 3 hours ago."

The girl pleaded to have one more try on the skateboarding platform.

"I guess one more time won't hurt," shrugged the boy.

The girl and boy got ready on the platform and they went down. They started doing tricks and flips like the Bigflip and the Disco Flip. They also did a Fingerflip and more.

"Wow!" thought Kinochi. "They're good!"

The girl eventually stopped but the boy went on. He was enjoying himself alot alright.

"And who said we should have gone home?" questioned the girl with a smirk on her face. The boy stopped at once.

The boy took off his hat which had blocked his eyes.

"Ricky?" exclaimed Kinochi out loud before thinking.

The brunette boy turned his head in suprise. "Kochi?" said Ricky, suprised. "What are you doing here?"

"I was walking back home when I saw you two skateboarding," said Kinochi. "You guys were awesome. Oh yea.. Ricky?"

"Yes?" said Ricky, puzzled.

"Is that girl your girlfriend?" said Kinochi. To her suprise, Ricky started laughing like mad.

"Are you kidding me?" chuckled Ricky. "She's my sister!"

"Yo," said the brunette haired girl."My name is Makani! Sister of Rick of course."

"Hi..?" said Kinochi. They both shook hands.

"I think I should get going now," said Kinochi after awhile. "Bye Ricky, Bye Makani!" She turned around to start walking home when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned her head around to find out that it was Ricky.

"Hey.." began Ricky."You want a ride home?" The grin on his face grew wider every second.

"Huh??" said Kinochi. "What do you mean by a ride home?"

"I mean it by.." said the grinning Ricky. "By this!"

Ricky hoisted Kinochi on his back as he took out his skateboard and slapped on his hat on his head. Kinochi tried to get down but it was futile.

"Oh damn," began Kinochi. "Don't tell me.."

"Let's rock and roll!" said Ricky with a mischevious smile as he started moving on his skateboard. Kinochi held back a scream which was amazing because Ricky was moving fast.

"Wait up!" said Manaki, having trouble at keeping up with Ricky's pace.

"Keep up or lose behind!" shouted back Ricky naughtily.

Manaki temporarily stopped as Ricky and Kinochi got out of sight.

Manaki smiled. "That girl is something.." thought Manaki.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Kinochi reached her house in record time. Rick put Kinochi down as he said, "Wasn't that fun?"

"Yea," said Kinochi, panting."Real fun. Thanks for the 'ride'."

Suddenly, Manaki came out of nowhere and pulled Kinochi to a corner.

"Hey!" said Ricky. "Where are you guys going?"

"Nothing," replied Manaki as she gave a cheeky smile. "We're going to have some 'girl' talk."

Ricky sweatdropped.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"I think my brother has eyes for you," said Manaki as she grinned.

"H-huh??" said Kinochi as she went scarlet red. "Why would you s-say that??"

"No normal guy would just carry up a girl and bring her home you know," said Manaki, still grinning. "I know my brother. Whoever he has eyes on I will know."

"Well," said Kinochi. "I know you're wrong this time!"

"We'll see," said Manaki."It's time for me and my brother to go now.Goodbye!"

Kinochi waved goodbye as she locked the house gates.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

.:: Monday Morning ::.

Kinochi actually managed to wake up in time to get ready for school.

"Oh damn," thought Kinochi. "Where's my freakin' tie??" She scrambled over a heap of clothes and more miscellanious stuff when she found it. Kinochi sighed in relief.

Kinochi put on the tie and got her school bag. She began to tidy up her hair when she saw the book flipping open again. Kinochi cautiously looked around, just in case if her brother came in the room again.

Kinochi took up the book with the utmost caution as the book began to carve words with blood again.

Falling never felt so -

"So?" thought Kinochi, as she impatiently waited for the word to form."G-?"

"You're not done yet?" said Yourichi, suddenly popping in. "I'm going now okay?"

"Okay!" said Kinochi while she quickly hid the book behind her. She hid it because it was found under her brother's freaking bed! If he saw her holding it, she's going to get into a lot of trouble.

Yourichi exited the room as Kinochi quickly kept the book in her school bag.

"Who knows," thought Kinochi to herself. "Maybe I'll get to find out later."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Kinochi boredly stared out at the school window as the teacher rambled on about something.

"Hey," thought Kinochi. "Maybe I should take out the book now."

Kinochi slowly reached for her bag when suddenly her teacher called her name. Kinochi stiffened in fright.

"So Kinochi," said the teacher. "Would you like to do it?"

Kinochi had no frigging idea of what the teacher was talking about. But she dared to risk. Kinochi replied, "Yes..?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Regrettion poured all over Kinochi as she carried a mountain of books. It turned out that the teacher wanted someone to help him carry the all the students books.

"Oh I'm so dumb," thought the frustrated Kinochi.

As Kinochi neared a flight of stairs, Kinochi tripped over a book that had fallen from the mountain of books.

"Watch out!" said a voice, coming from the lower part of the stairway.

Kinochi started falling down, down, down, eventually landing on a bigger surface of the stairs. Kinochi had collided into the person that was warning her.

"Akio-kun?"
